Johnson City Dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Johnson, TN

Johnson City Dental, a thriving practice with a long-standing reputation for excellence, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. We are committed to honoring our legacy of tradition while embracing the future, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and vision.
In this role, you will:
  • Assist the dentist with various procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
  • Sterilize instruments, and equipment, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Prepare patients for treatments by taking X-rays, recording vital signs.
  • Educate patients and answer their questions with sensitivity and clarity.
  • Be cross-trained and gracefully attend to areas where assistance is most needed
  • Work collaboratively with the dentist, hygienists, and other team members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients.
We are looking for a candidate who:
  • Possesses a valid TN license to practice as a Registered Dental Assistant with certification in Dental Radiology.
  • Additional certifications (such as coronal polishing, etc.) are a plus.
  • Has at least 3 years of experience.
  • Demonstrates strong clinical skills, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Is organized, efficient, and adaptable, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Is a team player, willing to collaborate and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Has a great attitude and work ethic and values respect and harmony with patients and other team members
